| Tommorrow Andy and I will sign the lease to our house on the Island. It
is located at 1009 court street and it has a PORCH SWING. I cant wait
to live off campus next year. I wont have a curfew and I wont have to
clean up my place to go home for thanksgiving and I can have girls over
anytime and watch rated R movies and I don't have to go through the
stressful housing lottery and did I mention our house has marina
access!!!! Yeah its true but we have to find a boat first. We even can
see the lake from our front porch which has a PORCH SWING. Its
been hard for me to think of anything else besides that I get to move
into that house on May 1st.
In other news it looks like I will be an OB leader this summer. I am
even going to learn how to drive a big blue bus. I know people see OB
as a cult but I know there are good things about OB. Ob students
sometimes get stereotyped as being some kind of CE national zombies.
Hopefully my students wont turn out that way but they will have a life
changing experience this summer. I know I will learn just as much as
the students will this summer.

| So last week I went on an amazing backpacking trip with my good buddy
and good friend Landon Reifsnider. Along the way we met two philosophy
Doctors from memphis State, Jack and David. Itts weird to think that we
were on first name basis with two very educated doctors. We camped with
them for two nights and had some amazing conversations. There really
isnt anything to do once the sun goes down except talk so it wasnt
awkward or forced to talk about our faith with them.. I hope
someday I get to see those philosophers again maybe we will go on a
camping trip with them again.
P.S.- everyone should listen to Tegan and Sara they have the catchiest songs ever made.

| I love playing some Dance Dance with the boys. It gets all sweaty and
gross in our living room and it ends up smelling like a junior high
locker room. I wouldn't trade it for anything because we are all secure
enough in our masculinity to make fools of ourselves dancing to cheesy
japanese techno. But! We are in dire need of a second pad so we can have two
people dance at once, so if anyone needs an idea for a Christmas gift
they know what to get me.

| I know I havent posted anything in a long time but I found something
worthy to post. All the guys out there know about the new urinal in Mclain and
how it has no flusher. So i decided to go on the falcon waterfree
technologies site and see how it works. To my surprise there was a
wonderful flash animation that shows us just how it works.

| This semester is going great. I dont know what it is about the spring semester but it just is better. Maybe its because the freshman are adjusted and everyone has figured out where they fit in.but anyways, This weekend is going to be crazy. We are going on a GMA trip to Sunshine Cove. Which is a camp for innercity Chicago kids. We are going to be counselors which is kinda scary because innercity kids can be rough. I am sure that we will have an amazing time sledding and playing in the snow with them though. I have a feeling this is going to be our best GMA trip | | |
